Courtney Thorne Smith Bio
Courtney Thorne-Smith (born November 8 1987, died in 1967) is an American actress. Her most notable roles include Alison Parker on Melrose Place and Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. She was also on the show as Cheryl in According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both were computer-based market researchers. Courtney, who was seven years old, separated from her father, Walter Smith. She was a part of both parents, at various times. Jennifer is her older sister is an ad executive. In 1985, she graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. She also performed for the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley as she was in high school. Thorne Smith made her debut film appearance in the feature film drama Lucas as well as Winona Ryder Corey Haim, and Charlie Sheen. She was also involved in numerous films in the late 1980s, such as Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (1987), and Side Out (1990). In 1998 she starred in the box office failure Chairman of The Board alongside Carrot Top. In 2009, she starred in Sorority Wars. Thorne Smith was the lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the early 1990s. The actress got married to geneticist Andrew Conrad in June 2000. They divorced in 2001. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group, marketing company) and author of What I Know was her wedding date. The couple welcomed Jacob Emerson Fishman on January 11, 2008 at 40.
