Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released as a self-release. The mixtape was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debuted on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the number one spot within a mere decade , in the year 2020.
